One time game show contestant, oft-time urban roamer. I have nothing much to say, I'm the quiet one...which is probably why I take photos too much.

Finally gotten around to watching Spider-Man: Bran Finally gotten around to watching Spider-Man: Brand New Day. And yes, I'm dressed for the occasion, lol.

I originally wanted to watch it on Screen X but the the schedules available did not match mine and if there were, the seats available were near the screen too much. I instead decided to watch it at SM's Directors Club cinema, my first time watching a movie at such venue. If anything, I love the reclining seats and USB charging ports.

There were some things I found lacking at the cinema but at this point, I’m too tired to care. and I just wanted to see a movie.
When we first moved to our home in February 2012, When we first moved to our home in February 2012, a neighbor offered to us her puppy for adoption. At that time, he was about 3 months old and not properly nourished. We were keen on having a guard dog in our house so we took him in. It was raining that day we adopted him so I named him Rain. (lol)

Cringey that name was, Rain grew to be a reliable member of the family. Always on guard not only vs. strangers but even insects, frogs, and snakes, he went above and beyond, at times at the risk of his own life for the sake of duty.

He was also well-disciplined even though we never trained him that much. Almost always, he would pee and poop either in the CR or in the garden so he almost never made a mess inside the house. He also had this peculiar habit of making his bed by laying his blanket perfectly flat so he could sleep on it.

Dogs usually have a lifespan of 10-13 years. The fact that he made it past 14 years is amazing in itself, a testament to his sheer determination and tenacity. But I’d like to think he lived this long because he enjoyed so much being a part of our family who has given him a chance in life.

Thank you Rain for the memories. Now run free there in dog heaven.

The Urban Green Development at Ortigas Center (the Pasig Side, at Least)

    April 22, 2018

We have read and seen too many sad stories of urban decay, especially here in the metropolis. Because of this, there has been this lingering sense of hopelessness with the disorder and chaos that we see around the city. That being said, any story that offers positive developments and give a sense of hope that things can be done to at least mitigate the chaos is very much welcome. Like the developments going on at Ortigas Center…the Pasig part of it at least.

    November 7, 2015

Right at the heart of Ortigas Center, the Pasig side of Ortigas Center in particular, lies the nerve center of commercial activity in the country. Well to be specifc, it’s one of the centers actually, but we’ll get to that later. Today, the Urban Roamer checks out the Tektite Towers, also known formally as the Philippine Stock Exchange Centre, where the country’s national bourse, the Philippine Stock Exchange or PSE currently holds office.
