The official residence of the PH ambassador to Japan in Fujimi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo was built in 1934 by the great grandfather of Yoko Ono. He eventually sold it in 1944 to then Pres. Jose P. Laurel who bought it on behalf of the PH government.
