One time game show contestant, oft-time urban roamer. I have nothing much to say, I'm the quiet one...which is probably why I take photos too much.

As someone who's familiar with Power Rangers/Super As someone who's familiar with Power Rangers/Super Sentai, I was stoked to see someone cosplay as the Black Dino Ranger/Abareblack as he's not really a popular choice. Then again, in PR he was friggin Tommy the Green Ranger so...

P.S. Adding a robe to the suit is certainly a choice, but honestly, it doesn't look bad
Some new information on the Centrex House Since m Some new information on the Centrex House

Since my post yesterday,. I received some interesting insights on the place from some folks on Threads. I thank them very much for the leads they have provided.

This led to this feature on Jose Luis Yulo Jr., the founder and CEO of Centrex Corp. This not only corresponds to the Centrex House being a Yulo property but also the info that the current Centrex House may have been one of the old homes of the Yulos before it was converted to be a business space.

The Yulos are a pretty landed family so they would have owned multiple properties. Heck, they used to own a large estate in Canlubang and what is now Nuvali.

In addition, Yulo also served/serves (not sure if he still holds this position) as honorary consul to Slovenia, which also corresponds to the info that this used to be the site of the Slovenian consulate in the country after Slovenia established relations with the Philippines in 1993. This presence has been upgraded to an embassy last year and has since relocated to RCBC Plaza in Makati.

Lastly, I was led to an uploaded photo in Google Search when searching for Centrex on the site. While I still have to find information as to when the house was originally built, the interiors scream it was originally built more than 50 years ago, possible between the 1930s=1960s.

Still hoping to find more info about this place but the leads so far have been insightful. Again, thanks to the folks on Threads for the information they have shared!
Any information about this structure near the corn Any information about this structure near the corner of Shaw Blvd. and Pilar St. in Mandaluyong? It has the looks of an old house (built 50+ years ago) that was typical of the old houses that used to be found around this area but I'm not sure if it was adaptively reused or a fairly new building.

Where’s the Line 1 South Extension?

    January 4, 2016

During the last days of 2015, people were all in anticipation with what should be the biggest news on the first day of 2016, President Noynoy Aquino and my “favorite” Transportation Secretary Jun (P)Abaya being run over by a train because they apparently could not keep their promise of having the construction of the 11.7 kilometer Line 1 South Extension from Baclaran to Bacoor in Cavite by the end of 2015. It was a promise first uttered at the height of the campaign period for the 2013 midterm elections as Aquino was campaigning for his senatorial bets in Cavite. It also happens that (P)Abaya was also a congressman of the province…
