ACHIEVE PROJECT: Chapter 1 This was my first time ACHIEVE PROJECT: Chapter 1

This was my first time to make a bid for a Pag-IBIG acquired property and reading the various stories of success and failure in trying to acquire such properties, I did not know what to expect. For one, the property is located in a well-known village so I anticipated some competition. I also did not want to make an offer that is beyond my budget and the value of the properties there as I was able to determine.

So when it came to putting my bid offer, I ultimately went with a bit of symbolism as my bid price actually reflected my date of birth (in yyyymmd0 format) for a bit of luck. Though making selections based on my birth date had not been effective a lot, especially in lottery so I was both hoping for the best and bracing for the worst. I submitted my offer on July 5 and my offer is to be opened and reviewed a week later.

More than a week later, on July 14, I received a text message informing me that my offer was accepted. It was an unexpected but welcome news for someone like who was doing the acquired asset thing for the first time.

I was then asked to go to the Pag-IBIG office the following week to pay the reservation fee and claim the Notice of Award. For the purchase of the lot, I chose to do it via long-term installment so I had to submit some documents which I completed that week as well.

I then underwent a credit investigation by Pag-IBIG which involved not emailing my clients but also visiting me at home (no joke). Fortunately, my request had been approved and I am set to finalize the transaction tomorrow!

I thank the Father for this milestone!

Now the real work begins. And I think I’ll need some help.
It's rare for me to post body pics but I feel the It's rare for me to post body pics but I feel the need to flex the fact that after 5 years more or less, I was able to wear these beloved (and expensive lol) pair of Levi's pants again 😎
