The Line 3 Metro Rail Transit train woes continue…at least until the new trains arrive by early next year. For the meantime, to meet the demands of the growing number of commuters taking the Line 3 trains every day, a couple of new schemes were recently implemented by the government which we are going to take a quick look here.

A Renewed Rizal Experience at the Fort Santiago Rizal Shrine
If you have not been to Fort Santiago, in particular the Rizal Shrine located within its premises, you may want to schedule a trip there one of these days. Even if you have been there before, you may want to pay a visit there again. This is because the Rizal Shrine has recently undergone a renovation of its interior set-up, giving the shrine a much-needed makeover and its visitors a new, different insight into learning about Jose Rizal, his life, works, and deeds that made him a National Hero.

The Philippine Heritage Mapping Workshop and the 1st WikiExpedition in Manila
It was a fulfilling, though tiring and sleep-deprived 3 days from May 2-4 at the Wikimedia Philippines Cultural Heritage Mapping workshop that I was fortunate and privileged to attend. My thanks again to the people of Wikimedia Philippines, especially the people behind the Philippine Cultural Heritage Mapping project headed by Joel Aldor, for organizing this 1st ever workshop event.
