One time game show contestant, oft-time urban roamer. I have nothing much to say, I'm the quiet one...which is probably why I take photos too much.

On the occasion of WWDC 25 and the announcement of On the occasion of WWDC 25 and the announcement of new Apple OS releases, here are some photos of the Apple Store in The Exchange TRX, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. An official Apple store mind you.
Unlike Merdeka 118 and Petronas Towers, The Exchan Unlike Merdeka 118 and Petronas Towers, The Exchange 106 does not have anything interesting as a building to brag about. In fact, there had been some controversy over its claims that it had surpassed Petronas Towers in height until it was determined that is the 3rd tallest in Malaysia at 445.5 meters and 95 storeys. It is however the skyscraper closest to where I was staying (Bukit Bintang) and it is near the TRX Mall where an official Apple Store (the only one in Malaysia AFAIK) is located.
Petronas Towers, currently the tallest twin towers Petronas Towers, currently the tallest twin towers in the world and former recordholder of the tallest building in the world title from 1998-2004 at 451.9 meters and 88 storeys. Until Merdeka 118 came into the picture, Petronas Towers was THE landmark of Kuala Lumpur. But even if it lost the titles, it still remains an iconic KL landmark, partly because of its timelessness in design and that classic architectural look reminiscent of the classic skyscrapers and art deco towers.

Just mention UP and people express their awe to show how much they look up to this university, the country’s premier university where many of the country’s brightest minds sprang from. UP’s status and prestige today makes one overlook how far it has come ever since it was established more than a century ago. Then again, not many know the story of the university’s early years, the struggles and the triumphs it encountered during that pioneering period in UP’s history. That was, until the Museum of a History of Ideas opened in UP’s Manila campus last October 22, 2014.
